Hi, my name is Alik Pinski. I remember drawing since I started to walk on my own, I have never studied art professionally, it was a natural ability given to me by providence - a gift, which I don't take for granted.

Originally from an east European country, I started tattooing when I was around 12. Three needles tied together, dipping in Indian ink and poking manually into the skin...that was the way to go. Then, I made a tattoo gun from my father's electric shaver, which brought my tattoo art to a relatively brand new level, and got me grounded for a week.

Eventually, I made my way to Canada, and in 2003 at the age of 37, me and my lovely wife Denise opened a tattoo studio. We named it Pinski's Palace of Pain and Beauty.

I specialize in photo-realistic tattoos, custom designs and free hand cover-ups. Also, I enjoy taking commissions on paintings in oil, pastel and drawings in pen and pencil. My favorite subjects in art are fantasy, animals, gothic and portraits.

My business partner, Denise Pinski is a wonderful woman and wife, a beautiful and talented nail technician and an artist. She does creative manicure and pedicure while managing the business. Also, she loves to paint in oil, acrylic and pastel, transforming common subjects, into meaningful, catchy and unique masterpieces.

With endless amount of help from our families, friends and loyal clients we have created a cozy, comfortable, family like atmosphere, which, we believe, particularly defines us from old- traditional, industrial type tattoo shops.
